How are sustainability measures at the Parkhotel Landau evaluated?

We have our measures reviewed on a regular basis. Our hotel was evaluated by the independent InfraCert Institute using the GreenSign sustainability score and received a rating of 86%.

The Parkhotel Landau was evaluated across 10 key areas using 133 criteria designed to assess holistic corporate sustainability. For the evaluation, the fully completed criteria checklist and current reference documents were provided to the auditor for review as a working basis.

This means that we meet high standards in all areas—environmental, social, and economic.

What specific measures are you implementing?

We pay attention to details. Refillable glass bottles, water dispensers, energy-saving LED lighting (as of September 1, 2026, at least 90% of the lights throughout the hotel will have been converted to LED). When purchasing new light bulbs, we use exclusively LED bulbs whenever technically possible. Paperless conference management, sustainable presentation materials made from certified recycled paper, and catering and coffee breaks without individually wrapped food items. Our kitchen uses regional products, and our conference rooms are operated in an energy-efficient manner.
